Ricky Reemer

Managing Director

Ricky has spent a total of 11 years in the IT industry, and started his career as a Systems Engineer for IBM. In 2001 he started Unicorn IT with a vision to bring corporate IT to the SME; Ricky wanted to champion the needs of smaller businesses by providing them with the IT that they were needing, but at a cheap cost.

A highly technical background enabled him to build and develop the original ThinHost structure, although he has since handed responsibility for the technical aspects of the business to Darren Saunders so as to focus on high-level strategy and business partnerships - a role that plays to the strengths of the other aspects of his business acumen.

 

Sean Hutchinson

Sales Director

Sean joined the company having started his IT career on the technical side some 10 years ago. He moved from network administration to running his own IT support business in London in 2004.

Having long been a fan of Unicorn’s approach to innovation he joined the sales team and has since become our sales director.

  

Darren Saunders

Technical Director

Darren joined the company in 2005 and quickly became a key member of the team developing strong relationships with all our clients and partners. After a short introduction period Darren took hold of his new role and actively participated in all areas of the business.

Starting from his 1st line support position, Darren has since moved through the ranks to become Technical Director bringing with him a strong attitude to strive for excellence, both for himself and for the service we offer.

Darron Rudd

Senior Systems Architect

Darron is our Senior Systems Architect. His primary role within the organisation is to design, implement and manage IT infrastructure solutions.

With over 12 years experience, during which time he has worked multi-national companies such as IBM, Bull Information Systems and United Business Media, he has built up numerous technical qualifications including: MCSE, MCSA, CCA, ACSA, ACTC, ACHDS, ACDT, and ACPT.

 

Raees Mayan

Technical Support Specialist

Raees joined Unicorn as a Technical Support Specialist, and has built a strong rapport with all of our clients and partners. He prides himself on customer service and speed of delivery.
He currently manages the provisioning process and first / second line support cases, which means he is the first point of call for any support queries.

He also has a strong history of building and maintaining custom specification desktop systems which has helped towards consulting clients and prospects when they are ready to buy new systems.
